We always like a Friday here at William Murray, but this one feels particularly special. Why? We’re glad you asked. At last night’s prestigious B2B Awards in London, we picked up not one, not two, but three awards. Not a bad haul considering we only entered two…
B2B PR Agency of the Year
With 95% of our business coming from referrals and our client retention rate hitting an eight year average, it’s fair to say we’ve had a good year. We’ve always been proud to be the UK’s number one specialist food & drink PR agency. Now, we’re officially the UK’s number one B2B PR agency too.
Best Use of Thought Leadership
Our ‘dishing up advice on gluten-free’ campaign for Knorr (Unilever Food Solutions) was designed to make gluten-free catering simple for operators. It was a huge success, significantly growing the market position of Knorr gluten-free gravy. Leon Mills, Knorr marketing manager, said: “William Murray helped Knorr come from an underdog position in the gravy market. We are now in reach of our ambition to become market leader.” You can read the full case study here.
Grand Prix Campaign of the Year
Two from two but we weren’t done yet. Our name was called once more for the Grand Prix Campaign of the Year, awarded to the overall best campaign across all 23 categories.
500 submissions. 13 countries. 179 shortlisted entries. One winner – our gluten-free campaign. An incredible honour and testament to the hard work, creativity and strategic thinking that went into it.
Here’s what the judging panel had to say: “We were very impressed by the Knorr marketing campaign. Their use of bringing together a number of marketing channels to deliver an integrated campaign was innovative and creative. In what was a very difficult category to judge due to the number of high quality entries, we would like to congratulate them on achieving the winning vote for the Grand Prix category.”
Anita Murray, CEO of William Murray Communications, said: “The B2B Marketing Awards are widely regarded as the most competitive and prestigious in the business to business marketing industry, attracting 500 submissions from 13 countries across Europe. To have won three awards, including PR Agency of the Year and the Grand Prix Campaign of the Year, is a phenomenal triumph and a testament to the quality of work we deliver for our clients. It’s a proud moment for everyone here at William Murray.”
Chuffed, to say the least.
