Being a responsible business isn’t just a tick in the box for us, it’s part of who we are and runs right across the business.
As well as us making a positive long-term contribution to our industry, it also gives us a competitive advantage through enhancing the reputation of our brand and empowering our people.
Giving back is nothing new to William Murray and is part of what we do. For over 25 years we have given significant support to not just raising money ourselves, but helping our clients to raise money. We give both time and money, and introduce people so that we can make an even bigger difference.
Over the past five years we have donated over £150,000 ourselves, given over £100,000 of free time to good causes, helped to organise events that have in turn raised over £200,000, and encouraged our customers to raise over £1m themselves for a range of local and industry causes.
Here’s just a taste of the organisations we support…

As part of our commitment to the industry our senior team act as mentors for a number of our industry organisations. This includes being part of the Women 1st mentoring scheme and encouraging budding catering students at Westminster Kingsway College.
We’re working closely with the UK’s leading PR and marketing universities to continually develop our intern programme. We take 3rd year graduates for a year’s placement and teach them the skills they’ll need to develop and grow as PR professionals. But our commitment doesn’t end there – when they’ve finished their degree many come back as full time employees.
